“The Capovero concept abstractly expresses the union of the richest productive areas of the island. It is the result of a journey in which the various stages mark the history of Sicilian viticulture. It starts from Western Sicily, an area of great expression of Syrah to Grillo and Nero d’Avola of Monreale (PA), passing through the Cerasuolo di Vittoria (RG), up to 750 m asl in the vineyards of Nerello Mascalese and Carricante of Etna.”
